Xmas: Bauchi Lawmaker Donates 200 bags of Rice, Cash To Traditional Rulers In Bogoro

The member representing Bogoro constituency in Bauchi State House of Assembly, Honourable Wakili Musa Nakwada on Friday distributed food items and cash  to all the traditional rulers in his constituency to celebrate Christmas.

The distribution exercise was held at Gobbiya Ward, Bogoro local Government Area of Bauchi State.

Nakwada, who is the Chief Whip of the State Assembly, disclosed that items distributed to the traditional rulers included 200 bags of rice and cash ahead of the Christmas celebration.

The lawmaker said that the interest of his people was paramount to him all the time hence he usually donate Christmas gifts to constituents 

He explained that it was a matter of duty to always assist his constituents in any capacity, when the need arises, particularly during Christmas.

He emphasised the need for all the traditional leaders and their subjects to live in peace and harmony with one another in order to attract morep dividends of democracy.

He used the occasion to express his appreciation to Governor Bala Mohammed for his inclusive leadership as well as ongoing projects in Bogoro and all the  local government areas.of the State.

The Chief Whip also thanked the Speaker of the House, Honorable Abubukar Suleiman and his colleagues for showing him love among lawmakers of the state.

He promised to bring more  development projects in both human and capital developments to his people when the need arises.

Nakwada wished all the traditional leaders merry Christmas and happy year celebration in advance.

Some of the traditional leaders expressed their appreciation to the lawmaker for his annual Christmas gifts to them.
