Bogoro Local Government Councillors Elect Gwandah Simon As Leader

The elected Councillors of Bogoro Local Government Area of Bauchi State have elected Honourabe Gwandah Simon, better known as Gatan Kowa, as leader.

Simon, before his election as Leader by the 13 Councillors, was the Councillor representing Bogoro C. Ward.

His election, which held at the  Local Government Secretariat in

Bogoro, was unopposed.

In his acceptance speech,  Simon expressed his appreciation to the colleagues for seeing him worthy  to lead the 13 ward Councillors..

He assured all the Councillors that he will work with them for the development of the 13 wards and the entire local government .

The newly elected leader of the Councillors called on colleagues to support the leadership of the Executive Chairman, Surveyor Yakubu Lawi Sumi who is committed towards the growth and transformation of Bogoro.

Some of the Councillors who spoke to Metoric Post promised to give the new leader massive support for the development of the 13 ward that formed Bogoro  Local Government area of Bauchi State
