The Bauchi State Government has taken a bold step toward revitalising its solid mineral sector through a landmark partnership with Nikhil Pvt. Ltd., a reputable Indian firm renowned for its expertise in mineral processing and trading.

Facilitated by Bauchi Mining Synergy and Exploration Limited (BAMSEL), the agreement marks a significant milestone in the state’s effort to harness its abundant mineral resources for economic growth and sustainable development.

The signing ceremony, held at the Ministry of Natural Resources Development, was presided over by the Commissioner for Natural Resources Development, Mohammed Maiwada Bello who signed on behalf of the Bauchi State Government.

Other notable attendees included the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, as well as representatives from Nikhil Pvt. Ltd., signifying the collaborative spirit underpinning the partnership.

Highlight of the agreement is a commitment to generating comprehensive data on the types, quantities, and quality of mineral deposits across Bauchi State.

The commissioner noted that this initiative aims to provide the government with accurate and verifiable information on its resource base, facilitating informed policy decisions and efficient resource management.

He added that the data will serve as the foundation for building a robust and sustainable mineral sector in the state.
