Bauchí: Bogoro Council Chairman Sumi Bags Award

The Football Club of the Regional Church Council RCC Lusa on Wednesday recognised the Executive Chairman of Bogoro  Local Government Area of Bauchi State, Surveyor Yakubu Lawi Sumi for good work.

Reverend Joel Shem Sumumma, Chairman of the Church, presented an  Award of Excellence to the council boss at the Council  Secretariat.

Sumumma acknowledged the LG Chairman’s outstanding work and contributions to the entire good people of Bogoro local government.

He said that the award was in recognition of the Council boss administration, which he noted had led to numerous advancements in the local government that have set it apart from others..

“Throughout his career as an academician and administrator, Surveyor Yakubu Lawi Sumi has demonstrated transformative leadership and a dedication to development,” Sumumma stated.

In his acceptance speech, chairman, expressed his appreciation to the Football Club Team of the RCC Lusa for awarding him

Sumi charged religious leaders in the local government to redouble their efforts in preaching peace and unity for the development of the local government.

The council boss advised religious  leaders to enhance awareness and education to inculcate positive  attitudes among the people for the stability of the society.
