Bauchi: Outrage As 2-Year-old Girl Is Raped to Death.

A two year old girl has been allegedly raped to death in Ningi, Bauchi State, prompting public outrage.
This was disclosed by the Public Relations Officer, Bauchí State Police command, Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, in a press release issued on Tuesday.
Mohammed, a superintendent of police , said the incident occurred on November 5, 2024.
He said the crime was reported at the Ningi Police Divisional Headquarters.
“The motionless body of a two-year-old baby was found beside a mosque on Deneva Street, Ningi LGA, with suspected signs of rape,” he stated.
“Upon receiving the report, detectives were dispatched to the scene, and the victim’s body was taken to the General Hospital Ningi, where a medical report confirmed that the baby had suffered severe injuries as result of penetration which led to her death”
The Commissioner of Police, Auwal Musa Mohammed, has condemned the incident, describing it as a heinous crime.
The PPRO said the Commissioner of Police has directed the Divisional Police Officer to make extra efforts to apprehend the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
“He also called on parents and guardians to ensure the safety of their children, not to allow them wander around the streets, ” the PPRO added
“The command is soliciting the public’s assistance with any useful information that could help in arresting and prosecuting the perpetrators”
