Bauchi Welcomes Obasanjo To Commission Projects

Former President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo is billed to visit Bauchí State on Sunday to commission projects.

Governir Bala Mohammed in a message issued by his Special Adviser on Media, Muktar Gidado on Saturday, welcomed the former President, on behalf of his family , government and people of the State.

“During the visit , Chief Obasanjo GCFR would commission two major road projects executed by the Governor Bala Mohammed led administration under his Urban and Rural renewal projects,” the statement read.

“The two major roads projects to be commissioned by the former president are :

“1- The completed Dualization of 17.7KM Kano road to Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport Bauchi .

“2. The 30KM Gubi Gari, Ruda Bida , Siyi to Nasarawa road connecting two local Government areas of Bauchi and Ganjuwa .

“The roads infrastructural developments aimed at boosting the socio-economic activities of Bauchi State, are a testament to the Governor’s unwavering commitment to the progress and well-being of the people.

“Governor Bala Mohammed has demonstrated exemplary leadership through numerous developmental projects, which have transformed the landscape of the state and improved the standard of living of its citizens.

“The construction of these roads is part of the larger vision of ensuring that Bauchi State remains a hub of development, investment, and growth in Northern Nigeria.

“The visit of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo GCFR underscores the importance of these achievements and serves as a morale booster to the administration’s efforts to build a better future for Bauchi.

“His presence in Bauchi State is a reflection of the mutual respect and shared commitment to nation-building between past and present leadership.
