Burga Says PDP Set To Dislodge APC

Pharmacist Samaila Adamu Burga, the newly elected Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Bauchi State has said that the days of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC at the centre is over come 2027.

Burga, who was declared Chairman unopposed at the just concluded PDP State Congress which was held on Saturday, said the renewed PDP is poised to take power from the ruling APC and return Nigeria to days of glory

The former Principal Private Secretary (PPS) to Governor Bala Mohammed has emerged unopposed.

The new PDP State Chairman and his executives were sworn on Saturday at the Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu Square Government House, shortly after being announced winners by the Ambassador El -Gash Umar electoral committee.

Speaking during his acceptance speech, Burga described their emergence as leaders of the party in the state as victory for all faithful.

He said it is a sign that PDP will secure the Presidency, Governorship, National Assembly and state assembly seats in the next general election.

He praised the outgone PDP leadership for their tenacity acumen that led to winning the governorship elections in the state in 2019 and 2023.

“The beauty of a party is to win elections,” Burga stated.

He appealed to his executives to put hands on deck and consolidate on the success of the party by ensuring that PDP coast to power in 2027.

He advised faithful and leaders against party discord in the primaries of the PDP that may scuttle the plan of PDP come 2027.

“Let us be united and build the party to secure victory come 2027,” he assured
