Dogara Is Desperate For Relevance – Group

A group known as Bogoro Youth Vanguard in Bogoro LGA of Bauchi State has described the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Barr Yakubu Dogara as a desperate politician.

The group argued that the former speaker is seeking notice and recognition of the current President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led All Progressives Congress (APC) led Federal Government. 

The group in a statement titled: Re: Gov. Bala Mohammed’s Latest Tirade and Truculent Bufoonery’ signed by 

Comrade Habila Daniel Dodo, Chairman and Philip Y. Kimsa, Secretary opined that the attack by the former Speaker  against  Bauchi State Governor was unnecessary and uncalled for. 

The group stated that,  politics is both theoretical and as well practical in nature and is a beautiful and interesting game most especially if there exit’s an agile opposition that watches how a country is managed and governed, because no government is secured long without an effective and formidable opposition. 

The group added that, It further sets a stage and offers the opportunity for any responsible Government to brace up and act in the right direction that is in accordance with the plight of its citizens through effective policies that has direct bearing on them. 

“Albeit devilry politicians and desperate gongs whose lost sense of rationality and fair judgement on issues and lost the gimmick of what sets politics in play due to extreme high selfishness, often takes a turn to exhibit their exuberance and lack of political maturity,” he said.

“Bringing in vendetta with no regards or how they got to be who they are now, thereby over hitting the polity and thinking that politics is all about themselves and what they set to pursue irrespective of much that lies to what people need than their individualistic ego and selfishness, because when one talks the interpretation is left to the public to slice and dice them in the manner they keenly watch and listen to their commentaries. What lies before us to dissect, and so easily so is a lame piece by a retired /jobless Dogara Yakubu of APDPC.”

According to the group,”Saturday the 10th of August 2024 greeted us with one of the most shambolic commentaries of recent times, which came from none other but Rt. Hon. Dogara Yakubu (former Speaker) who supposedly should be a patriotic son of Bauchi State but unfortunately has lost his grip of political conscience.”

“We understand the struggle to revive his stunted political career by all means and also trying to restore for himself, political sanity from the chunk of mess and blunders he has committed right from within his kinsmen and his callous utterances prior to the 2023 Presidential election that brought PBAT against his ill-fated wish of thinking Alh. Atiku Abubakar wins and become the President in 2023,” It added. 

According to the group,”When it comes to trivialities, Dogara has proven to have won many awards with his edge cutting records of childishness when engaging on national political matters. Aiya Dogara, your desperation to regain political relevance is becoming a popular stench around the country.”

It added,”Less we forget, there is no politician in this country in the past 20 years that has exhibited high propensity of betrayal, biting the fingers that feed someone, like Dogara has done, for the short period of political life he has lived, he has firmly masterminded the art of treachery and envy as against service to nation or loyalty to political beliefs and dogma.” 

“How many people in Bauchi can gallantly call out Dogara as a responsible politician or a loyal fellow? Even his close allies know it’s impossible given his barefaced antecedents.”

“People need to understand that Dogara is willing and is death thirsty of relevance from PBAT at the moment and can hold even the sharp edge of a knife once his stalled political sojourn can be revived and his Machiavellian tactics can thrive and have a place to be given a nod by PBAT,” It stressed. 

Bogoro Youth Vanguard added that, “But who needs such distraction from a man whose words are completely filthy, and actions are completely mischievous? PBAT should know this clearly, to condone Dogara’s excesses is to condone a typical life of the Dark Age we have long forgotten and never wish to have any connection with it again.”

It claimed that,”He is such a self-centred and haughty jingoist who can go to any length to perpetrate evil against the will of others so long as it serves his self-centred interest. Once Dogara wins, it’s alright; otherwise, it is not alright. Dogara knows he cannot brag of lifting one soul whether political or in economics terms in the entire constituency that gave him the platform to become influential.”

“It’s sad that Sayawa people, who thought he had a rare opportunity to change their cause, rather used it against their individual growth and empowerment,” The group lamented. 

According to the group, “Dogara became a terror and constantly clipping the wings of those developing and rising, a life he’s well known for in his own homeland. He brags to be rich; he needs to be reminded that he never made even one person a millionaire in his local government, but instead constantly cashing on their vulnerabilities.”

“As a way of life for Dogara, he brings people down in trying to score cheap political points. This time, instead of going higher with a game he is used to, he stooped too low with such a clueless, inarticulate and needless write up against a man some of us considers as one of the best the State has seen,” It stressed. 

According the group,”Sen. Bala Mohammed has not only demonstrated capacity in rebuilding Bauchi and ensuring the existence of sustainable peace and mutual relationship among the citizens of the state and its environs, but his pro-activeness has also been a point of reference even by PBAT himself.”

It pointed out that,”His press release titled “ON GOV. BALA MOHAMMED’S LATEST TIRADE AND TRUCULENT BUFOONERY” is nothing short of display of crass insensitivity, meaningless and incoherent presentation. It is sad that Dogara chose to make a mockery of him. It is obvious that the pains of last Gubernatorial election loss still lingers with him, sorry, there’s no apology as you will always be defeated.”

“For many of us at home, we knew that the introduction of Dogara into the campaign team of Air. Vice Marshall Sadiq was a killer itself, a lesson for any gubernatorial candidate in the future. Does he need to be reminded that he has no political structure at home? Whoever Dogara points hand at, is already a apology and lacking the right moral fibre to ride on,” It stressed.

“In many lines of his script, Dogara has helped us buttress what is meant to envy and become jealous of someone’s achievements, that’s the summary of that script which we can say he is weeping, nagging and remorsefully licking his self-inflicted wounds,” It added. 

The group added that,”Even a child born in the last 10 years can confidently tell you that Dogara is damn sick and is wallowing in extreme hate and envy of Gov Bala’s achievements as Governor of Bauchi State. Another missed target for Dogara, with a zero objectivity in the content. We understand Dogara does not engage in anything noble now, hence his indulgence in developing such lame piece.”

The group asked,”Could there be any level of pettiness other than this statement? I imagine the political Pedigree of Dogara and having gone through the highest learning levels to lose common knowledge of how government exists or Dogara think like everyone can hold up public property to himself as he has done with the shopping complex in Bogoro which is a constituency project? Is he telling the world that Gov. Bala Mohammed would be packing up the Government House to his personal collections after 4 years?”

It however stated that,”This is truly a shallow thinking you don’t expect from once number 4 citizen of the country that has once being in corridor of power and governance, to outlandishly make such a hypocritical and silly statement. Just as the saying goes ” soja come soja go but Barrack remains.” 

“It seems he loses his reasoning by the day… Is that how his extreme hate for Gov. Bala smells? It is now evident that Dogara is obviously jealous of Gov Bala’s ultra model House, for how long shall he continue to speak about that house? 

“Any slightest opportunity he finds or at the slightest provocation he speaks on Gov Bala’s House, but Dogara has forgotten that prior to Gov. Bala owning that house, Dogara’s House in new GRA Bauchi was type that can’t be compared with any in that area. Oh, is this coming from his usual attitude of not wishing anyone to surpass him or grows to the height he has attained or for one to posses anything more than what he possesses?

“Please, be reminded that we all know the type of house he lives in Abuja, the type that depicts opposite lives of the people that gave him the power to enrich himself. 

” Yet he has built no functional school , just one example , my Almer matter , the famous Bauchi Teachers College located right inside his nose , now lies in ruins , let him tell the world which of the hospitals in the state is fully functional and how many doctors he has employ ” 

” Dogara needs to also explain to the world what he meant by hospital not to be functional and we don’t know if there is a hospital that’s deserted by people because is not functional in the state, or is Dogara talking about non functional maternities and Primary Healthcare Centers littered in villages of Bogoro , Dass , Tafawa Balewa that has now become den of Snakes , Rats and other deadly reptiles , is that the explanation of functional hospital to Dogara?  

“When he had chance , soaring and shutting in corridors of power , I wonder how many Doctors he has employed to his dilapidated primary healthcare centers in his constituency to get them operational , and we’ll further ask him this , when he was the s. from infallible human error he is picking to dent Gov Bala Mohammed with , therefore if Bauchi Teachers College is left in ruins then we want to remind Dogara that he also played a part to that a for doing absolutely nothing when he was at the helm of affairs . 

“We have seen great men bringing ICT centres , Computers , Construction of classrooms , having volunteer teachers on their payroll , I wonder among these which one has Dogara done to Bauchi Teachers College ?

” These are statements of a man that’s clouded and filled with ego and pride , I wonder the guts Dogara has to call someone a crass opportunist , if at all he has the history of how he started and where he comes from , is Gov Bala a crass opportunist to Dogara ? 

“That apart, Dogara has forgotten what God cannot do does not exist the position you see anyone occupying today is destined by God but where has Dogara thrown that teaching as a Christian? 

“If there could be a definition of a crass opportunist then none can surpassed the one having Dogara as the speaker of the 8th assembly, no opportunist you could get than Dogara coming from Bauchi State, as minority  Christian from Bogoro in Northern Nigeria  and as Zaar ( Sayawa ) by tribe to be a Speaker of the federal republic of Nigeria , since he has failed to remember destiny and what God can do, then he needs to be reminded that there is no crass opportunist more than him because if it were by merit and legislative impetus Dogara wouldn’t have come close to smelling the exalted seat of a speaker because far and wide  Hon Femi Gbajabiamilla who Dogara contested with  was far better legislature by merit and impetus but God made Dogara a Speaker and no one says no since he was destined by God but for him calling Gov Bala a crass opportunist it means Dogara has completely forgotten who he was and where he came from. 

“Extorting and exploiting people and situation can best be explain by Dogara’s abandoned projects littered over his constituency, it could have been a thing of concern to ask why the execution of many projects stopped, the Tafawa Balewa water project is one among many talkless of the Budget padding which we don’t want to make much emphasis on, what are they? if not tendencies of extortion and exploitation. 

“Sure, the joblessness of Dogara has thickened because it’s clear that he is in dugout, very thirsty of relevance. One could wonder of the this recent twist to be a defender of PBAT because opportunity has showcase itself for him to capitalize on, if Dogara can address Gov Bala as ” Hallelujah Boy ” now describe the President as inept then Dogara need to be told of how hard he strived using every cunning means to work against PBAT in favor of Atiku Abubakar from the first hour his VP ambition was shattered and sent down to memory lane. 

“Lo and behold , like a Dog licking his vomit , here comes Dogara this time defending and standing for the Muslim-Muslim he once coerced and urged christians to dessuade themselves from via seminars and various press conferences . 

” Under this, who could be the latest Hallelujah boy? Since he has seen Tinubu as God’s sent now against what he said of Tinubu not having a chance to win the presidential election 2023 against his candidate Alh Atiku Abubakar .

” This is the highest insult that a son of Bauchi state could set on the city of his birth, we imagine how Dogara can dare his state by reducing his citizens to just mere Keke and Okada riders. 

” Is Dogara telling the citizens of Bauchi state that they don’t deserve their city to be beautiful? Even though, we won’t blame him because he sparingly comes home for him to know and assess whether there is traffic congestion at wunti , Muda Lawal and central Market , but a resident of Bauchi can tell you that the flyover is a welcome development that would ease the traffic congestion and also beatify the city but it’s glaring that Dogara hates that and wish Bauchi city to remain like an ancient city like those in the primitive age . 

“Except Dogara , no true son of Bauchi state would look the building of flyover with a scorned eyes of hate just because it is Gov Bala Mohammed that’s building it, therefore Dogara should know that Bauchi citizens does not deserve this show of disrespect.

“Dogara brought division in Za;ar land having served as the 4th citizen of this country as speaker of the House of representatives and never for once recognized Komo as Ngun Za’ar in any function  but will come out today to use Komo as a tool to gain sympathy from our people is worth looking at.

The group concluded, “It’s only a mad dog that turns around and bites the fingers that feed him and made him who he thinks he is today.”
