Chidimma to compete in Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 after withdrawing from Miss South Africa contest
Chidimma Vanessa Onwe Adetshina, a stunning model with Nigerian and Mozambican roots, has made headlines once again as she announces her participation in the Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 beauty pageant.
This comes shortly after she withdrew from the Miss South Africa 2024 contest following intense scrutiny regarding her nationality.
Adetshina, who had advanced to the Top 11 finalists in the Miss South Africa competition, chose to step down after allegations surfaced from the South African Department of Home Affairs.
The department suggested that her mother might have been involved in fraud and identity theft, leading to a cloud of controversy over her eligibility.
Despite this setback, Adetshina’s journey in the world of beauty pageants is far from over. In a recent video, she revealed her decision to accept an invitation to compete in Miss Universe Nigeria 2024.
“I have decided to participate in the Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 beauty pageant,” Adetshina announced. “I am looking forward to participating in Africa’s most prestigious beauty pageant – Miss Universe Nigeria.”
Adetshina’s resilience and determination to pursue her dreams despite challenges have inspired many, and her participation in Miss Universe Nigeria is eagerly anticipated.
