Vice President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), North Central and the General overseer of the Evangelical Bible outreach ministry international (Ebomi) , Prophet Isa El-Buba Saddique,  has condemned recent attacks in in Bokkos and Mangu local government areas of Plateau State that left 15 dead.

Speaking with journalists at the conclusion of a three-day crusade in Bauchi and the inauguration of the state chapter of the PFN in Bauchi on        Saturday, El-Buba described the attack as painful.

“It is so painful to hear what happened,” he said.

The prophet however commended the military’s quick response to recent attacks by gunmen.

“The military have been up and doing for the past one week to deal with the terrorists and they have been able to make gains that had not been made for a long time,” he opined.

“But it is unfortunate what happened yesterday (Thursday) and I think there are little security lapses and I am encouraging that security should advance more forces into those territories and not just wait for the attackers to come in but to go after  the attackers and deal with them .

“We know the spots of where those terrorists are and just as they have started to root them from where they are taking possessions and occupy, it is time to get rid of them. I think it is painful but at the same time the military has made advances”

Speaking on the just concluded crusade in Bauchi, the PFN Vice Chairman urged the people of the state to expect turnaround of events.

“Anytime you see a people come together and then they have been able to synergized, one of the things you see is unusual blessings,” he stated.

“Just like the word of the scriptures says how beautiful for brethren to dwell together.

“When there is this unity there is this unction force that comes with it, so you are going to see a new dimension of grace, a new dimension of impact and the people will feel.

“You could see it in the field, it was something that was visible. So Bauchi is going to experience more of God’s blessings”

The clergy urged Nigerians to pray much more than ever for the desired change in the country.

He also advised Nigerians to realise that nobody was going to change the country order than themselves.

“If you leave it to the political elites then you will continue to be slaves but if you choose that this is the time we need to change this nation, by ourselves, that is why it is called democracy,” he said.

“And finally, I would encourage every Nigerian to go back to the farm”

Speaking on behalf of the National President of the PFN, Evangelist Francis Wale Oke, while officially presiding over the inauguration of the Executive Council held on Saturday at the Events Centre of the AMAKs Hotel, Bauchi. Prophet El-Buba, urged the new leadership to lead with fear of God and unite the body of Christ.

He urged the newly inaugurated PFN executives led by Pastor Promise Yohanna to see their inauguration as amazing call.

“They are saddled with a greater responsibility to unify the boy of Christ much more than they have done in the past so what we are going to see greater synergy within the body of Christ and the church is going to move forward”
