Bauchi government promotes 84 senior civil servants
The Bauchi State Civil Service Commission (BSCSC) has announced the promotion of 84 senior civil servants.
DAILYPOST reports that among the promoted officers is the Deputy Chief Medical Officer, who has now attained the rank of Chief Medical Officer at grade level 17 within the State Civil Service.
Their promotion was disclosed In a statement made available to journalists on Saturday by the information officer of the Commission, Saleh Umar.
According to the statement, the promotion was deliberated upon during the 11th plenary session of the Commission, which convened on March 14, 2024.
“During the session, the Commission reviewed 84 recommendations for promotion from four MDAs: the State Independent Electoral Commission (5 officers), Health Management Board (73 officers), Debt Management Office (3 officers), and State Sports Council (3 officers).
“All candidates underwent interviews and were successfully promoted,” the statement partly reads
The statement further disclosed that the Chairman of the Commission, Alh. Abubakar Usman IION, who presided over the meeting, charged the newly promoted candidates to live up to expectations and put more effort in the discharge of their primary assignment.
