Buni orders investigation into the gruesome murder of Mamman
Hamza Malli Damagum, Damaturu
Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has called on the police to unravel every detail surrounding the gruesome killing of Ammi Adamu Mamman.
Mamman was slaughtered by yet-to-be identified persons at her residence at Bra Bra Housing Estate Damaturu.
The woman was found dead with a deep cut on her neck.
The Governor charged security agencies to ensure that anyone involved in her death are arrested to face the full wrath of the law.
He vowed that killers of Ammi must face the wrath of the law, adding that, “No one involved would be spared from facing the dictates of the law,” he stated.
Buni condoled with the family of the deceased who was buried on Tuesday.
Similarly, the governor commiserated with the family of late Hamsatu Gimba who died after a brief illness at Specialist Hospital in Potiskum at the age of 85
He also condoled the family of late Fatima Idris Zanwa, who died on Tuesday.
The governor said the deaths of Hamsatu Gimba, Ammi Mamman, and Fatima Idris as touching.
He condoled the families of Alhaji Gimba Ahmed, Adamu Mamman and Idris Zanwa over the deaths.
Governor Buni described the death of the deceased persons as a sad loss to their families, communities and the state.
“As Muslims, we are consoled with the faith that it was their appointed time as decreed by Almighty Allah, our creator,” he said.
Buni described Hajiya Hamsatu as a disciplinarian mother and grandmother who instilled great discipline in her family and community.
“She would be missed for her excellent parenting, wise counselling and as an ambassador of peace and peaceful coexistence in the community,” he said.
The governor prayed God to forgive their shortcomings and grant them Aljannatu Firdausi.
