MD of Bauchi Radio Corporation congratulates new NAWOJ Zonal Secretary

The Managing Director of Bauchi State Radio Corporation (BRC), Alhaji Chindo Waziri, has congratulated the newly elected Zonal Secretary of the National Association Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Zone E North East, Hajiya Hauwa Aliyu

Waziri urged the new Zonal Secretary to justify the confidence repose in her by discharging her responsibility effectively.

The Managing Director gave the charge when he received the leadership of the NAWOJ Bauchi State Chapter who a courtesy visit to him in his office.

Waziri enjoined the newly elected Secretary not to relent in initiating programmes that will target Women especially those at the grassroot to bring them to the limelight.

He said that his doors would remain open for any assistance needed, and called on NAWOJ not to carry BRC along in their activities.

The state Chairperson of NAWOJ, Hajiya Rashida Yusuf said the essence of the visit to BRC was to officially present the newly elected Secretary NAWOJ North East to the Managing Director and the Management team of the Corporation as well as the Certificate of return.

Yusuf said they came to introduce the new NAWOJ national official as well seek advice that will help her discharge her constitutional responsibility to move the Association to a greater height.

The Chairperson also appealed to the Management of BRC to support her with advice and prayers to lead aright.

Responding, the newly elected NAWOJ Secretary North East Hajiya Hauwa Aliyu thanked the Management and the entire staff of the Corporation for their support with prayers and advices that led to her victorious emergence.

Aliyu appreciated NAWOJ in the State for their efforts towards emerging victorious and appealed to them to sustain the tempo.
