Old Boys & Girls – Army Children School, Nsukka, Bama, Potiskum holds 2nd AGM in Abuja

The Old Barracks Boys & Girls Army Children School, Nsukka, Bama, Potiskum Association holds its 2nd Annual General Meeting in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Friday October 13 and Saturday October 14.
The distinguished association of Barracks Boys and Girls which had its first reunion in 2020 and first AGM in 2021 will gather in a heartwarming reunion at their AGM schedule to hold this weekend in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja.
According to the Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) for the 2023 AGM, Chief Ewache Williams Mathew, the members of the Army Barracks Boys & Girls who grew up together and share common interests and goals would convene in the nation’s capital to reminisce and reflect on their shared fraternal experiences.
Mathew told Daily Sun correspondent in Abuja via telephone that this year’s AGM has key topics “Setting the Agenda for ABB&G Prosperity and Development” and “ABB&G Contributions to National Security and Peace in Nigeria and the World”.
He said the AGM would feature a diverse array of activities, including lively discussions, award presentations to outstanding members, paying special tributes to their members in different works of life as well as tributes to their fallen heroes and heroines.
He explained further that the event would showcase the enduring bond and commitment of the Barracks Boys and Girls to their contemporaries and to Nigerians.
The LOC Chairman said the AGM provides a platform for these members and friends to reconnect, network, and exchange ideas for future collaborative initiatives.
“We emphasize the importance of giving back to the society, the barracks where we were born and nurtured and improving the standard of living of soldiers that played and continue to play a pivotal role in our formative years,” he said..
