Gov Mohamed directs new Special Advisers to master Bauchi State Blueprint

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has directed political appointees to master the blue print of the state for the full realisation of the Bauchi Project dream.
Mohammed gave the advice on Saturday during the swearing-in of 19 Special Advisers to re-invigorate the machinery of government and strengthen the administration’s commitment to delivering on its promises.
He emphasized that the blueprint if well executed would take the state to the next level of social and economic development.
The governor thanked the electorate for the confidence reposed in him by re-electing him.

He expressed his determination to work harder in his second tenure hence the appointment of competence aides to enhance good governance.
He urgedhis political appointees to acquaint themselves with the policy direction of the administration, especially his desire to resuscitate the Bauchi State blueprint.
Governor Mohammed explained that as a demonstration of his seriousness, the State’s blue print had been reviewed by a technical committee in line with current realities.
He said arrangement was being made to organised a retreat to sensitise appointees on the policy direction of the administration.
“The retreat is a deliberate efforts to avoid trials and errors in governance,” he stated.
“I would advise all political aides to take advantage of the retreat”
The governor said the appointment of 19 Special Advisers was a deliberate effort to put in place persons with specialised knowledge.
He said the Special Advisers are to complement the efforts of the Commissioners in providing the best services for the people of the state.
“Some of the Special Advisers are not from Bauchi State but people who have distinguished themselves in their various fields,” he stated.
Although the Special Advisers have no portfolios, the governor maintained that their responsibilities are clearly in line with uplifting the standard of living of the people of the state
He urged them to be prudent in use of funds and be accountable and block leakages.
“Your actions, inaction and utterances are of interest to the public and therefore must live above,” he said.
“Avoid rumour mongering and saying anything that will spoil the image of the state.
“I will not hesitate to remove anyone of you that will bring the image of the state to disrepute.
“Accessibility and team work are necessary for success”
The newly appointed Special Advisers and their respective portfolios are Dr. Ahmed Adamu Chiroma (Chief Security Adviser, Security), Hon. Bakoji Aliyu Bobbo (State& National Assembly liaison), Mr. Abdon D. Gin (Civil Service matters), Hajiya Zainab A.D Rufa’I (Non-Governmental Organisations), Hon. Adamu Manu Soro (Housing) and Dr. Asmau Ahmed Giade (Culture & Tourism)
Also appointed as Special Advisers are Hashimu Yakubu Kumbala (General Service & Administration), Senator Mohammed Bello (Multilateral Services), Hon. Isa Babayo Tilde (Local Government Affairs), Engineer Mahmood Abubakar (Engineering & Projects), Shehu Wadaji (Pilgrims Affairs) and Monica Musa (Poverty Alleviation)
Others are Surveyor Yohanna Yashi (Lands & Survey), Dr. Iliyasu Aliyu Gital- (Agriculture), Adamu Babayo Gabarin (Health), Alh. Abdullahi Bello Badejo (Farmers & Herders Matters) and Adamu Zakari (Education) and Senator Mohammed Adamu Bello (Multilateral)
