30 days in office: Governor Radda’s administration has instilled confidence -Mustapha Lawal Malumfashi, Ph.D

28th June 2023/ 10th Julhijja 1444 is exactly One month old for Dr. Radda’s administration. Already, several decisions have been taken in line with the general public expectation.

He has always projected a youthful, knowledgeable, educated, and enthusiastic appearance during the campaign period, which is why the Young Academics for APC and State House Aspirants, under the guidance of Hon. Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir (Andaje), decided to work together and devote their time, talents, and resources to campaign for his success. Alhamdulillah, in just a month, he has proven that we have delivered for the right person.

Many people have reposed confidence in him because he is focused, determined, and eager to deliver. We have faith in his energy and acumen to handle the political pressure that will inevitably result from his efforts to elevate Katsina State to the level of the twenty-first century. This is evident in the cunning he displayed and the strategies he deployed in the selection process of his cabinet. His Doctor of Philosophy and decades of experience in politics are beginning to manifest as seen in the just-released list of appointees.

His reformation committee structure and the calibre of those involved show that he is prepared and organized. When His Excellency received the reports from the various committees, it was confirmed to whoever was present. Arc. Dangiwa’s appointment as SGS would surely aid in implementation because of his admirably seasoned expertise and courteous demeanour.

Radda is religiously upright and appears hearty and sympathetic to consider the situation of the most vulnerable citizens of the state during decision-making (Some can be borrowed from His Ex. Rt. Hon. Aminu Masari). As close allies, the support in this aspect should be shouldered on a friend and Chief of Staff, Alhaji Jabiru Tsauri. His indefatigable team includes his wives as pillars and his beloved sister, Haj Hauwa Radda as a buffer. The teaming vulnerable citizens of Katsina state count on you in this regard. May Allah Guide him to continue as he transpired.

My decision to lead a team that joined the 34 local government chairmen, education secretaries, and some state house and national assembly candidates in their respective LGAs in the state to campaign for his excellency and the APC, in general, was motivated by our expectations, which have begun to prove right. As such, we have the stake to put forward pieces of advice when the need arises.

On these grounds, we sternly encourage His Excellency to group and assign his closest associates to a certain advisory direction, and forbid overlap to prevent confusion, as it occurred or occurring in several neighbouring states.

For the newly inaugurated leaders and lawmakers of Katsina state and Nigeria as a whole, may Allah, the Almighty protect and guide you in discharging your assigned responsibilities. May Allah grant you the bravery to implement all the necessary measures to stop the nation’s rising inflation and the current security crisis.
