University Don congratulates Bauchi Governor, others on re-election

A lecturer with the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi,
Survey Yakubu Lawi Sumi, has on Thursday congratulated Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir of Bauchi State on his recent victory at the polls.

Governor Mohammed defeated Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar of the All Progressive Congress (APC).the governorship election to secure re-election after being declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC).

Lawi Sumi made the Congratulatory message during a press briefing with some selected journalists saying Bala’s re-election will bring more development to our land and the entire good people of Bauchi state.

He said that it was during governor Mohammed’s administration that the state got more developments in many sectors such as Education, Health-Care delivery, Agriculture and transportation over the past four years. The Governor is now well positioned to move Bauchi State to the next level.

Sumi, appealing to Governor Bala of the state to take a look at the state youths and consider them in terms of political appointments and enough provision of job opportunities in order for them to be self reliant.

He also called on Governor Bala to embrace all the community groups in running the government in order to spur economic growth that would improve the lives of the residents of the state.

He further wished for a lasting peace and stability in Bauchi State as well as other parts of the country and prayed to the Almighty God for the successful completion of his second tenure.

While congratulating Honorable Musa Wakili Nakwada, a member representing Bogoro constituency in the Bauchi state House of Assembly for his re election victory,he urged him to pilot the affairs of the constuency for another four 4 years with resounding hardwork.

He described Musa’s re-election as a test for the strength of the People’s Democratic party in Bogoro whichwill also bring more developments to the constituents.

The University Don promised to give his support to the member elect for the betterment of the good people of Bogoro Constituency, Bauchi State and Nigeria as a whole.
