Bauchi State Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Adamu Manu Soro has refuted being the person depicted in a viral Twitter videoclip.

The viral clip depicts a man alleged to be  involved in vote-buying for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.

The man in the video is seen sharing money to mostly women allegedly to induce their votes while some men in police uniform in the background watch.

The video went viral prior to Saturday March 19 Governorship and State House.of Assembly elections in the country, capturing the Commissioner as the man in the clip.

However, Soro has vehemently refuted the video in an interview with  journalists  in Bauchi

He was worried on how he was erroneously captioned as the person in the widely virculated Twitter clip.

The  Commissioner threatened to institute legal action against the medium of communication (Not Metoric Post) that implicated him in the video.

Since Friday the Twitter clip began circulating alleging that a commissioner in Bauchi  erroneously captured as Soro depicted  a man buying votes for the PDP from the electorate ahead of the Saturday’s polls which clip was globally being watched on the twitter clip pages.

“My name is Honorable Adamu Manu Soro, Ommissioner  for Youths and sports development in Bauchi state,” he said.

“This Twitter video clips going round globally, whoever knows Bauchi state, knows that Governor Bala Mohammed has performed creditably well in the past three and a half years in the execution of capital projects, hence it is naive for someone to allege vote buying for the ruling PDP in the state.

“I’m not the one in the said video clips going round globally, so anyone or medium of communication published a story from the video clips does so to defarming my image and refutation in the good looking eyes of the public, and by God’s grace I’ll take a legal action against that”.
