From Abdul Ganiyu, Katsina
Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina State has sacked four of his political appointees, citing strategic alignment and political adjustment as the reasons.
The affected aides are Tasiu Dahiru Dandagoro, Commissioner for Works, and Transport, Yusuf Barmo, Chairman Katsina State Muslim Pilgrim Board, Fatima Ahmed, Permanent Secretary, Sustainable Development Goal and Aminu Waziri, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
This was contained in a press release signed by the Secretary to the State Government Muntari Lawal, dated Monday, February 27, with reference number S/SGKT/24/T/38.
“All the affected political appointees and public office holders are directed to handover all government properties in their possession to their respective Permanent Secretaries or the most Senior Directors as the case may be,” the letter announcing the termination of their appointment stated.
A highly placed insider informed MetoricPost that the affected aides were allegedly involved in anti party activities hence their sack
