2023: My husband best candidate to succeed Dogara – Mrs. Kefas Magaji

Ahead of the general election in Nigeria, wife of the people Democratic party (PDP) Candidate for Bogoro, Dass and Tafawa-Balewa Federal Constituency, Deaconess Mary Kefas Magaji has  said that her husband remains the best and  most qualified candidate to take over from former speaker Yakubu Dogara.

Magaji stated this during her campaign rally for her husband in the three local governments of the constituency, urging women and youth not to doubt the capacity of her husband to reposition the constituency positively, if elected.

She assured women that the constiituency would benefit in no small measure if her husband is given the mandate to represent them.

The wife of the PDP House of Representatives Candidate advised to the people of Bogoro, Dass and Tafawa-Balewa Federal constituency particularly women against being deceived by some Politicians.

“I urge you to tighten your belts as women of our constuency , I beg you not to doubt my husband, he will do so many things for you, including your children”, she said.

Magaji recalled that when her husband served as chairman Nigerian Law Reform Commission for six years, women and youth in the State were not left behind in her programmes.

She added that women should expect more if her husband becomes is declared winner in the forthcoming general elections.

She lamented the high cost of living in the country saying it has led to hunger.

She pointed out that many households in the constituency were not affording two square meal per day, promise to take look at that.

“There is hunger, no job for the youth, our youth are roaming the streets, some are involved in yahoo yahoo, we pray that God will intervene”, she said.

Magaji also urged the people of Bogoro, Dass and Tafawa-Balewa to vote Governor Bala Mohammed for second term and PDP Presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and all candidates of the PDP across the country to witness dividends of democracy.
