Atiku thanks Bauchi supporters for massive turn out at PDP rally

Presidential Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) Alhaji Abubakar Atiku, has expressed gratitude at the multitides of supporters that came out for the party’s rally in Bauchi on Tuesday.

Atiku said the massive show of support for the PDP is an indication that Nigerians are fed up with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)

“We have gone round the country to campaign for our party but we have not seen this kind of crowd in all our outings except in Bauchi,” he stated at the PDP campaign flag off held at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium.

The security operatives had a swell time controlling the mammoth crowd that thronged the stadium from all parts of the State to welcome the PDP Presidential candidate.

“People are lying that Governor Bala Mohammed has not built Bauchi but we have seen.here today shows that PDP is in control, in Bauchi” Atiku said.

“The governor has done excellently well. He constructed  roads, hospitals, schools and many infrastructural and he deserves to be re-elected. We therefore recommend him to you 

“I  want to sincerely thank the people of Bauchi State for this massive show of love for the PDP and for all the candidates of the party.

“Anyone that will elect me in Bauchi should also vote Governor Bala Mohammed. Vote PDP from top to bottom to end the hardship in Nigeria”

He promised to exploit the oil that was discovered in the Kolmani  region of Bauchi and Gombe States in commercial quantity for the benefit of the people of the country if elected as President.A

“For years there say there is oil in Bauchi in the Lake Chad area. Today you have one of your own seeking to rule Nigeria.. If you elect us we will ensure that  the oil is drilled in commercial quantity”

He said one of the strategies is to build pipelines to take crude oil from the North East to other parts of the country.

Atiku also promised to provide youth and women with loans to start up businesses  to  remove them from poverty. 

“PDP is your only chance because you have seen the hardship that APC  has caused ,” he said.

“I thank you for this support which we have not seen anywhere.

 “I thank Governor Mohammed for the good works he has done in Bauchi State. We therefore recommend  him to  you as yhw candidate you will vote”

Speaking earlier, Governor Mohammed said that Bauchi State is 100 percent for Atiku saying over the PDP in.the state has received over 10,000 supporters that decamped from the APC, NNPP, LP and other political parties.

“Atiku is our father and we will elect him unconditionally,” Governor Mohammed said.
