From Abdulganiyu Gambo, Katsina
As the 2023 general election draws closer, the Presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, has commissioned the NNPP State Secretariat in katsina, the Katsina State capital.
Kwankwaso had earlier paid a courtesy visit to Governor Aminu Bello Masari at Government house, Katsina where the two politicians went into a close door meetin
Addressing journalists, the former Kano State governor described Masari as a good friend, saying his meeting with Masari was fruitful but declined to give details.
While in Daura, home of President Muhammad Bubari, Kwankwaso also paid a courtesy call on the Emir, Alhaji Faruk Umar Faruk, at his Palace in Daura.
Kwankwaso in company with party officials and hundreds of supporters, then commissioned the Katsina State NNPP office.
An obviously elated Kwankwaso commended the governor, emirs and people of Katsina State for what he described as a wonderful hospitality accorded him and his entourage during the visit.
“Indeed Katsina State deserves the description of the status of the Home of Hospitality,” he said.
“l am grateful to the people of Katsina State,” the NNPP Presidential candidate added.
