Fears Mount Over Atiku’s Health…l am in good health, PDP Presidential Candidate reacts to viral video

A video has emerged suggesting the health of the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar may not be sound.
There is growing over the former Vice President’s health following the emergence of video footage showing him ‘limping’ after recently returning to the country.
Atiku, who is currently vying to become the President of Nigeria in 2023 is said to be suffering from an undisclosed ailment which is said to be the reason for his recent trip abroad.
In the video, seen by NigeriaCorrespondent, Atiku is seen ‘limping’ gently amidst a hoard of supporters and then led to a waiting SUV, where he is assisted in putting on a seatbelt.
Reacting to the viral video the PDP Presidential candidate said he is in good health.
Atiku’s Media Aide, Paul Ibe, in a statement, dismissed the claim, stressing that mischief makers were behind the reports.
“Our attention has been drawn to a report and a video in a section of the media purporting to be of an “ailing” Atiku Abubakar being helped strapped to his car seatbelt by an aide,” his statement said in parts.
“Nothing can be further from the truth. For the records, the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is in robust good health.
“We would not ordinarily have responded to this mischief, but for the impression that it will create in the minds of Nigerians, which is exactly the objective of the purveyors of this fake news”
