2023: Tinubu dares Nigerian Christian voters, finally picks Muslim as running mate
The All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate for the 2023 election, Bola Tinubu, has finally picked a Muslim running.
DAILY POST reports that some stakeholders in the country had warned the former Lagos State Governor against picking a Muslim running mate, as Muslim-Muslim ticket would sideline the Christians.
it quoted a report by Vanguard on Sunday that Tinubu may have settled for Senator Kashim Shettima as his running mate.
Shettima, the representative of Borno Central Senatorial District in the Red Chamber, was a two-term Governor of Borno State.
Tinubu is expected to inform President Muhammadu Buhari about his choice of running mate within the week.
