Delta Governor Charges Incoming PDP Leadership to Unite Party

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has charged the incoming Chief Solomon Areyenka led Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to unite the party
Oborevwori, who earlier cast his ballot during the congress, charged the incoming exco to unite the party in a tweet.
Oborevwori, who made the declaration in a tweet on his X handle, congratulate Areyenka and the other members of the new state exco.
“Today, we had the chance to elect the new Exco of the Delta State chapter of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), at the party’s Congress held at the Cenotaph in Asaba, under the watch of the State Congress Electoral Committee Chairman, Prof. Frank Collins Okafor. Chief Solomon Areyenka emerged as the newly elected party chairman,” he tweeted.
“Also present were representatives of INEC, independent observers, and other relevant stakeholders. I charged the new incoming Exco to work hard to unite the party, make it stronger, and position it to win future elections, as well as to immediately key into the MORE Agenda of our administration.
“Congratulations to Chief Solomon Areyenka and the other members of the new Exco.”
