AFCON: Super Eagles of Nigeria Beat Lions of Cameroun 2-0 To Qualify For Round 8

A much improved Super Eagles of Nigeria have qualified for the quarter finals of the 2023 African Nations Cup holding in Ivory Coast after beating the Lions of Cameroun 2-0

Ademola Lookman scored  all the two goals in the first and second half of the game to put Nigeria in the quarter finals after an impressive performance.

Nigeria is set to meet Angela, which qualified top of the group after beating Namibia 3-0 earlier in the day.

Nigeria’s goal keeper Nwabili was injured in the 77th minute of the game and was replaced by Vincent Uzoho

Cameroun brought in their talisman Vincent Abubakar in the second half but he could not make any impact as the Super Eagles’ defence marshaled by captain Ekong neutralized the opponents.
