Soldiers Rescue 6 Abducted Female Students Of Federal University Gusau

The Nigerian Army has rescued six abducted female students of the Federal University Gusau in Zamfara State.

It was not clear if there were more students kidnapped by terrorists from their hostels on Friday morning.

TVCNews reports that the kidnapped students were rescued by Operation Hadarin Daji of the Nigerian Army.

It was learned that some terrorists were killed by the troops during the rescue operation.

Operational motorcycles, One AK47 rifle and other items belonging to the terrorists were also recovered.

SaharaReporters had reported how terrorists kidnapped the university students on Friday morning.

SaharaReporters gathered that the gunmen invaded the students’ residence at Sabon-Gida identified as Nazeer Sabon-Gida and took away the dwellers, who were mostly female students of Federal University of Gusau.

A student of the university who spoke to SaharaReporters on condition of anonymity confirmed the report. She said the terrorists invaded the students’ area at midnight and kept shooting till they left.
