Bauchi Deputy Gov Loses PU To APC

In Unit 036, Kofar Adamu Umar of Azare Local Government Area, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Bauchi, Sadique Abubakar, defeated Governor Bala Mohammed of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The deputy governor, Baba Tela, cast his vote at the unit. Abubakar received 165 votes while the PDP garnered 113.
In the same polling unit, the APC won the State House of Assembly election with 182 votes, while the PDP received 93.
