Presidential aspirant warns against vote buying

A one-time Presidential aspirant, Mr Tanimu Audu has said that the forthcoming General Election is the best time for Nigerians to get it right calling on the electorate to use their votes widely.
Speaking with Metoric Post I’m Bauchi on the eve of the Presidential and National Assembly elections, Audu appealed to voters to shun vote buying in all its ramifications.
“I want to appeal to Nigerians to vote their conscience. They should say no to vote buying and vote the candidates of their choice,” he said.
The former aspirant warned the electorate to make the best us of their votes saying this is the best time for citizens to salvage the country from.the hands of corrupt politicians.
H appealed to candidates to stop inducing voters with money and other incentives in order to sell their votes.
“My call to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is to be firm declare candidates that win the election winners,” he stated
“I believe that the security agencies have property done their assignment to provide adequate security for the elections. My appeal is for every stakeholder to play their role accordingly for a free, fair and credible elections”
