Police arrest ice cream seller for allegedly defiling 12 year old boy… teacher napped for alleged rape of 7 year old girl

A 35- year- old ice cream seller in Alkaleri Local Government Area of Bauchi State has been arrested by the police for allegedly defiling a 12-year-old boy.

This was disclosed by Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, the police Public Relations Officer of the Bauchi State Police Command in a press statement issued in Tuesday.

Wakil a Superintendent of Police (SP),  said detectives attached to Alkaleri Divisional Police Headquarters acted on a report and arrested the suspect, identified as Sani Musa, an ice cream seller residing at BACAS area of the State.

Musa allegedly had anal sex with Bako (not real name), aged 12, behind a Bank in Alkaleri.

Wakil said preliminary investigation revealed that on September 5, at about 2100 hours, the suspect, who sold  ice cream at Alkaleri main market bought a sachet of water from the unsuspecting victim.

According to the story Musa later saw the boy walking around the market and lured him to a nearby locked shop and had anal sexual intercourse with him.

“During interrogation, the suspect voluntarily confessed to the crime,” Wakil stated.

In a related development, the police have arrested a 25-year-old school teacher, Sirajo Ahmed, for allegedly defiling a seven-year-old pupil in Alkaleri.

 Wakil said the suspect lured the innocent little girl into his office and allegedly raped her.

He said information received by the Division indicated that Ahmad, a resident of Unguwan Ajiya Alkaleri, is a teacher in Royal Science Academic School Alkaleri

He said the Commissioner of Police, Mamman Sanda, has directed that the case be charged to court.
