Bauchi State has rounded off its nationwide Economic and Investment Summit Road Show with a high-profile finale in Kano, aimed at attracting both local and international investors to the state.
The closing event, held on Saturday at the prestigious Tahir Guest Palace, brought together business leaders, diplomats, development partners, and key stakeholders who explored opportunities across critical sectors such as agriculture, solid minerals, tourism, energy, and infrastructure.
Delivering Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed’s message, the Secretary to the State Government, Hon. Aminu Hammayo, reaffirmed Bauchi’s readiness to provide a business-friendly environment anchored on transparency, security, and sustainable policies. He assured investors of incentives, infrastructure support, and a reduced cost of doing business.
Kano State Governor, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, was represented by the Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Alhaji Shehu Wada Sagagi, who commended Bauchi’s visionary approach, emphasizing the importance of inter-state collaboration in unlocking Nigeria’s economic potential.
The occasion was chaired by Alhaji Muhammad Borodo, former Minister of State for Mines and Power, who described the road show as a bold and strategic step that would accelerate industrialization and job creation in Bauchi.
The Bauchi Economic and Investment Road Show took the state’s investment pitch across Lagos, Abuja, Enugu, and Kano, rekindling investor confidence and creating new linkages ahead of the Bauchi Economic and Investment Summit slated for October 2025.
With the grand finale in Kano, the Bauchi State Government says it is now set to deepen investor engagement and seal concrete deals that will drive growth and development in the state.
