Former BASUG SUG President Abdullahi Ibrahim Declares Aspiration for NYCN VP

By Najib Sani, Gombe
As National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) sets to elect new leaders, a former Students Union Government (SUG) president of Bauchi State University Gadau (BASUG), Comrade Abdullahi Ibrahim, has declared his intention to contest for the position of Vice President (North East) of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN).
With a wealth of leadership experience and a strong track record of advocating for youth development, Comrade Ibrahim said he aims to drive positive change in the North East region.
In a press release issued to journalists yesterday, Comrade Ibrahim noted that his aspiration is built on his commitment to raising awareness, driving empowerment, and promoting youth-led rural development initiatives with measurable impact.
“We can redefine leadership and rewrite the narrative for young people across our region. And formidable and focused NYCN in our region will raise awareness, drive empowerment, and promote youth-led rural development initiatives with measurable impact”, he said.
Comrade Ibrahim said his vision for the North East youth is centred on inclusivity, empowerment, and progress and seeks to stand with young people, championing liberation from oppression and advocating for their rights.
