Ramadan: Pray for the return of peace in Katsina – Malumfashi

A renowned Scholar, Professor Mansur Usman Malumfashi, of the Faculty of Education Technology of Abubakar Tabawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, has urged the people of Katsina State to remain steadfast in prayers for peace to prevail in the State.

Malumfashi gave the advice in an interaction with journalists in his resident in Bauchi saying Ramadan was chosen By Allah (SWT) as the month of fasting and spiritual advancement.

The Sarkin Malaman Galadiman Katsina opined that security is the basis of peace adding that without peace there will be no development in any society.

“I felicitate with the good people of Katsina State on the last 10 days of Ramadan and urge us to continue to pray for the return of peace in Katsina,” he said

He said Ramadan was chosen By Allah (SWT) as the month of fasting and spiritual advancement, urging the people to remain steadfast in prayers for peace to prevail in the State.

He said security is the basis of peace and without peace there will not be any development. 

“I commend His Excellency Mallam Dikko Umaru Radda for the steady improvement in security since his assumption of office as Governor of Katsina state.

“This has enabled us to experience a great sense of achievement, spirituality, and closeness to Allah.

“Our state is in dire need of prayers and goodwill.

“We must be our brother’s keepers and be kind to one another. We must uphold the teachings of the Holy Month of Ramadan and imbibe them as we live together in peace and harmony.

“We should also not forget to always pray for the return of peace in Katsina State”

Malumfashi called on all Nigerians to double efforts and continue paying for the peace, unity and development of the country.

“There is an organic relationship between education and insecurity, business.

“We must have that level of sadly and self-confidence for people to come and do business and for education to take place”
