NUMALD Foundation Donates Relief Materials To Prisoners, Patients In Tafawa-Balewa

The NUMALD CARE FOUNDATION has donated relief materials to inmates and patients in all the government and private hospitals within Tafawa-Balewa Metropolitan of Bauchi State.

The items where distributed during their visitation include goats, bags of bathroom sleepers, drugs and other valuable items in other to improve their wellbeing.

The chairperson of the foundation, Mrs. Numtas Alhamdu, said that NUMALD CARE FOUNDATION, a nongovernmental organization, is centered on putting a smile on the faces of the people particularly the less privilege.

She said that as this year’s event is chaired by Theophilus Magani, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), adding that the foundation promised to give them support in everything they need.

“We started from hiking and aerobic exercise followed by Friendly football match that same day between homes based old-timers and away based old-timers, after the match we move to Tafawa Balewa Satellite custodial facility”

The chairperson, who was represented by the secretary of the foundation, survey Alhamdu Sabo said that they are in prisoners to encourage the inmates to ensure they change their habits and mindset as they are undergoing corrections from correctional officers.

Alhamdu appreciate those that help to ensure 2023 series of event becomes a reality starting from hiking and aerobic exercise, football friendly match then the grand finale by visiting custodial center and hospitals.

She urges other NGOs and the good people of Tafawa-Balewa local government area of the state to care for the less privilege
