Bauchi Governor Mourns Death of Former NUJ Chairman Isa Suleiman

The Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed has expressed shock over the death of former Chairman of the Nigerian Union Journalists (NUJ), Bauchi State Council, Alhaji Isa Suleiman, who died on Tuesday.
Mohammed on behalf of his family, the Government, and the good people of Bauchi State, expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the distinguished journalist, respected media practitioner, and former Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Bauchi State Council.
Alhaji Isa Suleman, until his demise, served in the Public Relations Department of Sa’adu Zungur University, Gadau. He died today in Bauchi after a protracted illness.
Mohammed described the late media veteran as a consummate professional, a mentor to many in the journalism profession, and a patriotic son of Bauchi State whose contributions to public enlightenment and the growth of the media in the state and beyond will be fondly remembered.
The Governor noted that Suleman’s humility, dedication to duty, and unwavering commitment to truth and fairness earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues, friends, and all who knew him.
While commiserating with members of his immediate family, the media community, and the entire people of Bauchi State, the Governor prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, and give the family the fortitude to bear the great loss.
May his soul rest in perfect peace, ameen.
