Sympathises with family of farmer killed
Govt takes responsibility of deceased farmer’s children
Governor promises compensation to herders over loss of livestock in fracas

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has brokered peace following clash between farmers and herders in Bogoro local government area of the state.
One person was killed and several livestock slaughtered in the clash that ensured between the two groups.
Expressing his condolences with the immediate family of the deceased , Irmiya Yohanna, an indigene of kaduna community in Bogoro during a sympathy visit to them, Governor Bala Mohammed condemned the crisis.
Mohammed, who was represented by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Isa Banayo Tilde, in company with the Commissioner of Police, Bauchi Command , Sani Aliyu Omolori, assured that his administration would take full responsibility for the children the deceased
He also promised to assist the victims who incurred losses where necessary.
After the condolence visit the delegation met with the Fulani community at the Divisional Police office in Bogoro and handed over to them their herds of catrle.
The governor assured the Fulani community that government would compensate them over all the losses and urged them to continue to live in peace with one another.
In his remark, Omolori assured residents that the police and other security agents in the area would continue to collaborate to protect lives and properties of the citizenry and appealed to them to avoid taking laws into their hands.
The village head of Bogoro, Mr Nuhu Tafida and Ardo Saidu representing the Fulani community respectively, expressed their appreciation to the governor for his prompt intervention in the crisis and pledged pledging their loyalty and support to ensure lasting peace in the area
