Fulani Community Begs Tinubu, Seeks Justice For Incarcerated Miyetti Allah Leader

Our Editor
The Fulani Community in Nigeria has appealed to President Bola Tinubu to intervene in the continued detention of the President of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Abdullahi Bodejo Bello.
Bodejo had been in detention since December 9, 2024, over an allegation of banditry and illegal arms possession in Nasarawa State.
Despite the ruling of the High Court, Federal Capital Territory, to release the defendant, his continued detention has disturbed the Fulani Community and expressed deep concern over their leader.
The National Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore Fulani Socio-cultural Association, Mohammed Tasiu Suleiman, said that their leader who was arrested by men of the Nigerian Army and later transferred to the custody of the Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA) and then the State Security Service (SSS) had not been freed as ordered by the court.
The Association is pleading with President Tinubu to intervene, stating that despite repeated arrests in the past, no charges have been proven against him.
The group believed that Badejo was innocent and illegally arrested.
Suleiman highlighted the health concerns of Bodejo, saying that he requires urgent medical attention for an illness he has been suffering from.
The community urged President Tinubu to use his good office to order his immediate and unconditional release.
