Bogoro Council Chairman Gifts 4 Motorcycles To Winners Of Quranic Recitation Competition

The Chairman of Bogoro Local Government Area of Bauchi State, Surveyor Yakubu Lawi Sumi, over the weekend distributed four motorcycles to the winners of Quranic recitation competition.
Sumi presented the gifts to the winners at the local government Secretariat.
The council chairman, also presented 10 mattresses to the newly posted members of the National Youth Service Corp NYSC in order to do their one year compulsory assignment well.
He said that the main reason for the donation of the mattresses to the NYSC members is to have good accommodation in the local government.
Yakubu Lawi Sumi Presents A Gift to One of the Beneficiaries in Bogoro LGA Secretariat
The local government chairman, Yakubu Lawi Sumi didn’t stop from that but also donated four (4) sewing machines to the Correctional Facilities in the LGA.
He said that the donation is aim to rehabilitate prisoners with support from the state governor, Senator Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir.
The chairman also donated set of official uniforms, boots and touch lights to the security men and messengers with the aim to improve their service.
