This was contained in a press release signed by the Head of Service Barrister Mohammed Fannami, made available to journalists on Thursday.
It stated that the gesture was sequel to the demands of the organized labour in state and the concern of the governor with the plight of civil servants owing to removal of fuel subsidy.
Giving the breakdown, Fannami said N1 billion was released for the payment of death gratuity while the sum of N602, 129,060 is for the payment of 2023 leave.
The Head of Service said the sum of N500, 000 would be released for the payment of gratuity to the staff of the Unified Local Government Service.
The release conveyed the appreciation of the governor over what it described as the resilience of the state civil servants in the face of current hardship in the country.
“His Excellency appeals for patient and understanding as his government shall always endeavor to address problems of the workers with the resources available,” it concluded.
