President Tinubu needs our prayer to succeed – Bauchi Gov appeal

Following the myriad of problems bedeviling the country, Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed has urged Christians across the country to pray for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led Federal government.
Governor Mohammed gave the advice while speaking during a Christmas rally organised by the State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).on Christmas day held at Government House Bauchi.
“The issue of politicking is over, it is time for action, therefore, he needs our collective prayers to succeed. Pray for him and pray for me also if,” the governor said.
“There is no issue of political party now, pray for APC and PDP to succeed in working for the people of the country.
“If Mr President did not perform creditable, it will affect even us in the state. We need to work together, synergize and ensure that the people got the dividends of democracy.”
He opined that prayer was very important in changing situations for good.
“God is always ready to answer our prayers. Let us pray for more money from the Federal Government for development of our state,” he said
The Governor assured that he would continue to serve the people of the state promising that he will do better than what was done in his first term.
He said he came with the intention of working for the people of the state.
Mohammed commended Christian community in the state for unflinching support to him and his administration since 2019 when he was first elected as Governor and in 2023 when he was reelected for a second term.
He also stressed the need for people to always hold government accountable in order to ensure that the right thing was done.
Earlier in his speech, the Chairman of CAN in the state, Reverend Abraham Dimis commended the governor for carrying every groups in the state along .
Dimis described the administration of Bala Mohammed as one of the best in the history of the state saying.the governor brought development as never witnessed in the state.
